What information do we collect and how do we use it?
Unless you tell us not to, we (“Haya Ceramics”) collect the following information about you (our “end user”) and your visits to our website and we use it like this:
- Your name and email; either because you have signed up to receive updates and offers through our newsletter or because you have made a purchase (either way, thank you for your support!).
- If you have made a purchase you will also be sharing your address and payment information with us so that we can complete your order.
- Details of the items you have previously purchased from us so that we can make suggestions to you for other beautiful things we think you may like.
- Information about your recent visits to hayaceramics.myshopify.com and how you used the website, so that we can make it as intuitive, simple and enjoyable to use as possible. We may also use this data to analyse broader trends in the usage of the website and help us understand how to improve. We do this using cookies, but only if you give us your consent by opting-in through the cookie banner displayed at the bottom of your screen.

We collect your information when you:
- Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.

- If you have purchased a product we will keep your information for up to 2 years and may occasionally email you with information we truly feel you may be interested in.
- If you have signed up for our newsletter to receive information about Haya Ceramics, we will keep your information safe and only use it to send you updates we genuinely think you would like to receive and care about.
You can, of course, opt-out and stop receiving these at any time, in which case your personal information will be immediately deleted from our database. To unsubscribe, simply click on “unsubscribe” in the footer of our newsletters or marketing emails or email us at hayaceramics@gmail.com.
How is your information shared?
- Your payment information will be securely processed via the payment processor you choose during checkout.
- Shopify transmits your complete payment information when you initially provide or update it only so that they can pass it along to the payment processors we agree to use. Shopify does not collect or store any of your payment information, and neither do we.
- Other than your payment information, none of your other personal data or details will be shared with any third parties without your explicit consent.
Can I access my information? What are my rights?
- The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data at any time. Simply email us at hayaceramics@gmail.com with, as subject, “access request” and we will get back to you within one month.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information we hold about you which you believe is inaccurate, or to complete any information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
